Session & plan

Write your rules once. During the day this page counts your trades against them and tells you when to stop.

Log a trade

Risk above your plan is marked as a breach automatically. A trade logged after the plan said stop is marked too. The page cannot block your exchange: it makes the breach visible.

Trading plan and daily limits: how the session page works

A trading plan is only useful if it can be checked during the day. On this page you write the numbers once: risk per trade in percent, the maximum number of trades, a daily loss limit in R, how many stops in a row trigger a pause and how long the pause lasts, and the names of your setups. After that every trade you log is compared with the plan.

What the page counts

The Today block shows trades used against the limit, the result of the day against the daily loss limit and the number of stops in a row. When the loss limit or the trade limit is reached, the page says the session is over. After the chosen number of stops in a row a countdown starts. Logging a trade while the plan says stop is still possible, because the page cannot control your exchange, but it asks for a separate click and marks the trade as a breach.

Automatic marks

If you enter the risk you actually took and it is above the plan, the trade is marked as over the limit. If you pick a setup from your list, the trade counts as by the system; choosing none marks it as outside the system. These marks feed the check-in, the coach and the statistics on the problem pages, so you no longer answer from memory.

Questions and answers

Can this page block my trading?

No. It cannot reach your exchange. It counts, warns and records every breach so that it is visible in the review.

Where is the plan stored?

Only in your browser. It is not sent to the site.
