Trading check-in: discipline score and one rule for tomorrow
The check-in takes about a minute. First you log the trades of the day: the result in R (a stop is -1, a trade that made twice the risk is +2), whether it followed your system, and whether the risk was within your limit. Then you answer a few yes or no questions about the day: stops moved, risk raised after a loss, attempts to win a loss back, FOMO, more trades than planned, whether you stopped at the daily limit.
How the score is built
The score is a transparent self-assessment, not a diagnosis. Risk discipline loses 35 points for raising risk after a loss, 35 for moving a stop and 30 for ignoring the daily limit. Setup discipline loses 55 for trading outside the system and 45 if entries cannot be explained by it. Impulse control loses 35 for revenge trading, 35 for FOMO and 30 for more trades than planned. The total is the average of the three.
History
After several check-ins the page shows your most common mistakes over 90 days, the number of breaches per week and the trend of the score. The history lives in your browser, can be exported as a file and deleted at any time.
Questions and answers
What is R?
R is a result measured in units of your planned risk. A trade stopped out is -1R, a trade that made twice what you risked is +2R.
Can I use it without logging trades?
Yes. The questions work on their own; the logged trades add comparisons and the coach conclusions.
