What to do

  1. Do not enter immediately. Wait for price to come back down into the zone 0.5937–0.5987 (now 0.6181, 3.13% to the zone).
  2. Enter the long from 0.5987, stop 0.5798 (beyond the head), target 0.6365: that is 2R, profit twice the risk.
  3. If price closes below 0.5798 before entry, the idea is cancelled.

Why exactly here (6)

  • Liquidity taken: Price took out the left shoulder low by 0.01262 and reversed
  • Change of character (CHoCH): The break reversed the previous market structure
  • QML not touched yet: Price has not returned to the level since the break
  • Order block (already touched) at QML: Overlaps the QML zone by 100%
  • 1h: structure is bullish: The higher timeframe points the same way
  • Delta confirms the break: Aggressive buyers: 57% of the break candle volume

What is against (2)

  • 15m: structure is bearish: The higher timeframe points the other way
  • CVD confirmed the head: Seller pressure at the head did not weaken

Not known yet

  • Absorption at QML: Waiting for a return to QML
  • Footprint (from trades): QML not touched yet
What history says
On history, 5m long: 25 of 113 completed trades reached the 2R target (22%). Breaking even at 2R needs 33%.

Quality is calculated like this: confirmations minus 2 × contradictions (≥5 strong, 2–4 medium, otherwise weak). This is not a probability of profit: in the History section, idea quality did not predict the result.

This forecast is recorded in the journal with frozen levels, and the result will be counted in the statistics.

Crypto trading ideas by coin: how to read the scenario

This page shows the current Quasimodo idea for the selected coin on Binance futures. The chart marks the left shoulder, the structural swing, the head and the break of structure, the QML zone, and the plan: entry at the zone edge, stop beyond the head and a target at 2R. Below the chart you see the confirmations that support the idea and the contradictions that weaken it, such as a higher-timeframe trend against the trade or an opposite order block in the way.

Short and long scenarios

A bearish QM (short) forms when a head makes a higher high above the left shoulder, takes the liquidity there, and price then breaks the structural low. A bullish QM (long) is the mirror image. The direction label is a description of the structure, not advice to open a position.

How long an idea stays relevant

An idea is relevant for 48 bars after confirmation. On 15m that is half a day, on 4h eight days. After that, or if price closes beyond the head, the setup is marked as expired or invalidated and moves to the history. Every published forecast is also written to the journal with frozen levels, so you can see later how it played out.

Use the idea as a map of levels: where liquidity was taken, where structure broke, where the market may react. Combine it with your own risk management, and remember that over a year of data the pattern alone was not profitable after fees.

Higher timeframe and context

Each timeframe is checked against a higher one: 5m against 15m and 1h, 15m against 1h, 1h against 4h, 4h against 1d. If the higher timeframe trends against the idea, it is listed as a contradiction. Order blocks and fair value gaps between the entry and the target are shown as obstacles, and liquidity pools beyond the target as possible magnets. None of these change the plan automatically: they are information for your decision.

Questions and answers

What is the QML zone?

The area around the left shoulder of the Quasimodo. After the structure break, price often returns there; the plan uses its edge as the entry.

Why is the stop placed beyond the head?

The head is the extreme that took liquidity. If price goes beyond it, the structure that justified the idea no longer exists.

What do confirmations and contradictions mean?

Facts known at the confirmation bar that support or weaken the idea: higher-timeframe bias, order blocks, fair value gaps, liquidity, volume and delta.

Is a strong idea more likely to win?

In our tests, quality filters did not hold up out of sample. Quality summarizes context; it is not a probability of success.

Which coin should I choose?

The list shows coins with an idea right now. Liquid coins such as BTC, ETH and SOL have tighter spreads and lower relative fees.
